who ever keeps claiming low 13's and high 12's for the mach 1 is retarded. muscle mustangs and fast fords 2 months ago did a shoot out of the mach 1 vs. gto the mach one ran a 13.53 and the gto ran like a 13.54, and that was with a professional race car driver and sae corrected times. So im sure maybe one person has gotten a 13.4 but a 12 second run is impossible for a bone stock mach 1! dont believe me buy the magazine or go to thier web site. hell i have video of 3 different ones running at kcir and the best time was a 13.7 i thought they were faster but they aren't.

 

I've seen it with my own two eyes...whoever magazine races is retarded. Also, G-Tech's produce higher trap speeds because they measure the quarter mile threshold point not an average over a distance like on a real quarter mile track. I am not endorsing G-tech times a legitimate just explaining.

I ran a 97-98 mph when I just had a AEM intake, granted it was hot out. My car felt sluggish, my face went cold when I saw the timeslip .

I have seen stock 03 Cobras trap at 114mph which is indicative of a low to mid 12 second ET. It would be a 'barely' 12 sec car with off idle launches...
