Low 13's even high 12's at traps that indicate from any speed they are going to run away and hide from S2000's.

same as always, ive been busy and things havent changed. some people here cant seem to figure out that quarter mile numbers mean nothing when looking at a roll on scenario. lets see, what is quarter mile numbers, well a car gets a gnarly launch, theres the ET. another car gets a horrible torqueless launch, and still runs a 13.50. lets see, when the torque happy easy 13.0 car races the 13.50 car from a roll, its gonna be real close, if not the advantage to the 13.50 car, why, cause its just proving how hard the 13.50 car pulls in the mid and top, for it to have ran, lets say a 2.5 or slower 60 ft, and still have a 13.50. ET means NOTHING in roll on races folks.
here think about this, if it helps (ramble) go to the track and pay attention. youll see some neat stuff, saw this at the track other nite, and had to explain to a friend *who thinks like people on here* for 15 mins, what just happened, and it was hard even though he SAW it. #1 right lane, 62 nova with 632 and bunch of spray ( i mean a BUNCH) and #2 69 RS camaro with small block and moderate spray.
they leave together heads up, the nova is just stupid fast, leaves on the bar and leaves the camaro like its parked, he gets about half track *2nd gear* and the car is too fat, starts chuggin bad, so he shuts it down. the camaro is still comin full speed, and blows by him hard, goes through the traps about 6 cars ahead of the nova who is still coasting. the boards come up, #1 8.69 100 mph.
#2 10.31 @ 134 mph. see the ET on the #1 car,, add that up, he went through behind the maro. thing is, his ET equates to his stupid nasty take off.
i dont know if many people here will get it, but im just tryin to say, roll ons are weird. they allow our torqueless wonders to have a really good day against some fast ass cars. i ran with a heavily modded STi last nite, but thats a story for another day. anyways, take it easy folks. dave

They sure do. I still haven't seen a stock mach 1 trap 107 mph though . From what i've seen, they do around 100-103. Thats right around where the S2000 is. We raced to around 120 i believe.

I've heard that Mach 1 runs high 12's to low 13's, but I've never seen any run close to that, in person or publications. 13.7 was the fastest I've seen.
I'll show you a 13.7 modded mustang GT run every time

Too bad the mach 1's are still faster than me.

When I put something in my mouth, the smell accounts for half the taste.. Had some in Dalien, China that had the smell and texture of dog crap... I gagged trying to get it down, and almost puked everywhere... Soo gross..

A good bud of mine bought a 03 Mach 1. His best run is a 13.028@107.90 with a 1.98 60' on stock radials. His mods are Bassani long tubes, no cats, magnaflow mufflers, short throw shifter and a K&N filter. No tune yet.

I figure the car is good for mid 12's on a set of good tires, a tune and good weather.
