S2K vs... Expidition
That's right. Sitting at a red light and this big A$$ Ford pulls up next to me and immediately starts revving like a madman. It's two kids probably in Dad's truck. So I shake my head like, "You're crazy." And he actually gets mad, rolls down his window and says, "I can take you."
Yeah, OK. This is a light I've been at a thousand times, I've got the timing down. Revved for just a moment at 4K, and went right when the light turned. This must have been horribly embarassing for him. Shift two second, look in mirror, I already had him by at least 4 cars. Shift to third, and he's waaaaay back. Bring it up to 90 and he's about a nine iron behind me; time to slow down.
Then the next light changes so I stop. It took him like 8-10 seconds, and he comes flying up to the light and hammers the brakes and the damn thing slid sideways. Then he hammers the gas and makes a right turn clipping BOTH the Inside curb AND the outside curd. WTF, kid's gonna hurt someone. I think I am not going to do this with young kids anymore. No point in encouraging them to drive beyond their abilities. NOT that I'm better than average, but jeez, at least I know my limits.

Something similar happened to me with a Ford F350 truck ...
Except when he finally caught up to me when I slowed down ... he tried to run me off the freakin' road!!! Luckily I punched it and got out of the way ... what a psycho ... no one messes with psicho.
