S2k VS E55 AMG
The other night we took out the Benz to a deserted road to see what it could do. It is completely stock. The road we were on was dusty from the farmers etc. My friend left the car in drive Vs the tiptronic trans (he wasn't used to it). Well I launched at the right rpm, but spun because of the dirt/dust He jumped to a car lead, and stayed there the whole way all the way thru 4th. I was pretty impressed that the little S hung in there. I figured I would lose by buslengths, that thing pulls so hard.
On the way back thru we tried again with the whole 3 honks deal, well of course he jumped, he admitted later. I got much better jump and I was at the back door the whole way. we got to 120 or so and he let off, I didn't, felt like I won but I know I didn't. He later went down this road by himself and hit 140, the max I ever hit was 130. That thing just pulls hard. BTW it is a 2000 model, not a brand new one.

I was kind've skeptical of your story, until I read the part about it being a 2000. Nice race though. The 2003's add 120 hp, and even more torque. Car would crush most known S2000 (save for a few turboed units).

Train lengths indeed. Even not built as 1/4 mile monster, the 2003 sedan is known to run 12.4 ET's. Run and beat the best. Not that an S2000 is a bottom feeder but even S/C or turbo charged ones are hard pressed to come close.
