yeah i drive both an e36 M3 and an S2000 and id probably give the slight advantage to the M3 every time.

also, e36 M3 handling is equal to the S2000's in my book.

Fun Fact: both cars have 50/50 weight distribution

i must agree you deffinatley need a rear wing when taking corners at that speed,it does feel like the rear whants to come around at about 130ish, last wknd we took a wide corner at about 152 i was surprized buddy was driving i was passenger,he never let off entering the turn and comming out of it,what a rush.ho and by the way i was on the 99 entering stockton comming from sac. the roads were clear at 4am, get a rear wing !

Can't say that I have done any 120mph cornering....yikes...However I can tell you that the stock alignment for the s2k IMO is not anywhere near agressive enough for even 7/10 driving.

To the aero subject....Anyone have hard #'s for a full Mugen body kit+wing in terms of CD reduces and DF produced? If memory serves me correctly the RSX kit is something remarkable like 14% reduction in drag, and 30% more DF.

the s2000 is way to light in the back end at high speeds that thing would be toast. Yes the s2000 is fast but 7/10 times the e36 will win. At high speeds through the turns 9/10 times the e36 will win......

Same thing happens over at my350z.com

People come over and say your shoulnt be doing that and blah blah. Which is true, but it is a street encounters forum. At my350z peole are no longer alowed to preach. " Don't like it, don't read it"

Anyways, nice run. Here is a Z's experiance with an E36 M3.

Z has indiva exhaust and test pipes. M3 has quite a few things, if I remember correctly, it has a euro hfm, some kind of chip, exhaust, intake, and something else I am forgeting.

Put that top up next time!

The M3 is impressive with all the technology in it. Just because you can't drive right doesn't mean the s2k isn't good at taking corners at high speed.
