s2k vs 05GT mustangs?

We have slips that show 13.7 stock times in the S2000. I haven't seen anything that would indicate lower times possible in a 05 GT. This means that in order to call the Stang faster, you either have to believe 1) the S2000 drivers posting these slips are better than anyone who has driven a 05 GT or 2) We're taking the time to produce fake slips on our own website.
With great drivers, it's going to be a toss in the 1/4... period.
Now, the S2000 is a more difficult car to drive to full potential, so I'd say on the street, there will be more average GT drivers beating average S2000 drivers.
From a roll... you can beat pretty much any car within .5 seconds of your 1/4 time, just depending on all the variables. Gearing is a much larger factor from a roll. What happens when one car starts at the top of 2nd gear, while the other starts at the bottom of third? Yeah.
To make it simple... either car could win in a race and it wouldn't take any significant difference in driving skills.

Any time you heard owners driving faster than what the manufacturers and test drivers can claim, then you know that something must be up.
Outside of America, I've never heard of anyone driving under 14 seconds for the 1/4 mile.

Test drivers don't drive that car every day and in the case of the S, don't know how to launch it properly.
So since you've never heard it, its never happened. If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, did it really fall.

ever done it since? I mean, that is three years ago, in what sound like the worst conditions that area experiences for drag times, yet you managed to run a time that very few S2000 owners ever see. You'd think, given the poor conditions of that day three years ago, you'd have run faster in the time since, if it were remotely possible.

With power to weight it is jsut a starting point. Acceleration in the 1/4 if almost equal will result in similar freeway results unless one car is trapping extremely higher than the other.

you keep bringing this up as if it doesn't count because someone only ran 1 or a few 13.7-13.8 times. nevermind the fact that multiple people have done it.
gee, i forgot about the rule that says, if you only run it x amount of times it doesn't really count.
