Thanks for the replies.

I must agree that there are some pretty cool WRX owners but definitely not the one I raced.

I have been smoked from a 60+ roll by some modded WRX's. Especially the lighter previous generation ones we have around in Australia. They have the same power but are 300lb or so lighter. In my city there are several that are capable of 11 and 12sec quarters.

I'm just wondering why they've spent all their money on performance mods when what the car really needs is a new body kit... esp a new front end. They are pretty cool cars, and have a VERY distict note... heck.. I even considered buying one and took one for a test drive.. but functional scoop or not.....it sits right next to the Mazda Laguna Seca Blue in my ugliness category
