once you get past about 60 days of membership you will realize that Steve C talks out his ass alot, and although funny it can get very annoying but for you to say "i thought with stock gears you only had enough gearing for 152?! ", makes your sound like a 13 year old who wishes one day of owning an ap1 s2000.

NOt every car is going to be able to hit their theoretical top speed....ie the viper shows a theoretical like 300 mph, but with the right conditions the ap1 can go over 160 (speedo) and 150 with basically decent weather and enough road.

hehe. my addition to all this.

ap2 ends at 157. i can get there quite quickly. ive heard many rumors on ap1, at 163, 167 and 175. i never reached any of these speeds in my ap1, 155 was it wouldnt pull anymore.
and as for the many opinions about this forum, and some of the folks on it, remember different strokes for different folks. thats what makes the world even out. steveC is a jackass by most measures. and no, hes not to be looked up to for anything, except how to be a jack ass. he actually is skilled in only one thing, running his mouth, and calling everyone he disagrees with a liar. but like i said, i put up with it because i see people like that every day. road ragers, angry folk, short tempered people and the like. i can do not much more than feel sorry for them. whenever they see your on a larger lily pad, they will try to sink it. this is normal and is called crabpotting.
