S2000 vs. Esprit Turbo

Default S2000 vs. Esprit Turbo
Hey everyone,

I noticed this video on youtube..

I have no doubt that a Lotus esprit turbo would beat a s2000 however I think it would be closer then that video was. I don't think the S2000 was really trying.

And do you guys think a S2000 with a Turbo or SC would be a better match?

Btw. I like the Lotus.. But I love the s2000s.

yeah its not a fair match, + a turbo v8 in the esprit will outdo a I4. even if it was slightly upgarded the I4 wont beat a turbo v8

The Esprit is putting out in excess of 350bhp from its twin turbo 3.5 V8.

Rest assured, the Lotus would had to of had a major service after that though.

that looks about right, thats what 110 extra hp does for ya... sounds like the s2k guy went from 3rd to 5th, the rpms drop REALLY low
