Default S2000 vs Elise

Assuming both stock, what is the S2000 chance? Anyone ever race and win? S2000 has 240 hp while I believe Elise only has slightly modified Celica GTS engine, which is ~200 hp, but Elise has huge weight advantage, I believe about ~400 lbs advantage?

Anyway assuming equal driver, which car will win?

Assuming equal driver, Elise wins. You are talking about a mid-low 13 second car there. 0-60 in 4.9.

oh and btw it's got about a 900lbs weight advantage.

from a dead stop it's the elise for sure, but from high speed roll I wouldn't be surprised if the S hung close, even, or actuall won. 'd like to see a race between the two stock on the highway. There are three elise's around my house(orange, gunmetal, red), if I ever get to mee the guys I'll try to set up some runs.

they trap in the 108 area if i'm not mistaken. i dont see a stock S2000 winning from a freeway roll either.

The only reason thy are so fast is because of there weight, but at higher speeds the weight of the car does not effect it's performence much. I may still have a slight advantage, but it's probably only getting around 140-150whp stock, while stock s2k's get from 205-210whp. I'd still lik to see what happens.

When it comes to stock vs stock from a stop, the Elise will win for sure.
Stock vs Stock from a roll Elise will win.

s2k:
0-60 mph = 5.5
0-100 mph = 14.0
rolling 5mph - 60mph = 6.9

Elise:
0-60 = 4.4
0-100 = 12.0
rolling 5 - 60 = 5.8
