my sisters boyfriend has a rsx type s

i pull on him like he is standing still............and he can drive. at any rpm, any speed i pull quite hard.

he has an aem and i have an intake as well.

every car is different, some have more horsepower than others and some respond better to mods and some are broken in better.

but he cannot even stay close..............at any rpm

I wouldn't look at 1/4 miles times but rather trap speed to see which has better acceleration. The S2000 has a big advantage from a stop becuase of the RWD vs. FWD. That could easily account for 0.5 second in the 1/4 mile. So if the race was from a 30 mph roll it will be much closer than if it's from a dig.

I believe that the S2000 avg. trap is 95-100mph and the RSX-S is about 90-95 mph. It could be close with a bad driver in the S2000 and a good driver in the RSX-S from a roll. From a stop it's no contest.

stock vs. stock the S2000 has all the cards in it's favor.

moded vs. moded ???

That is too much assuming, you should really get your car dynoed and get a number.

I agree with Auburn s2000. With just I/E and hondata ecu reflash it is a drivers race. add headers and I think the scale tips in favor of the rsx. A guy I met ran a 14.2 with just i/e/h/pulleys which is s2k territory.
