S2000 vs Acura Rsx type S
what would win in a race? The rsx or the S2...
STOCK...
what about slightly modified? RSX with a AEM CAI and the S2 with a catback exhaust, let's say hks hiper...
SO what would win? Compare stock and slightly modified...

i raced an RSX-S last week. up to like 100mph, the RSX was only a car behind me and I wasn't losing her. But I didn't drive the s2000 really good.. and the driver of the RSX drove really well. I was very surprised at how fast the RSX was. If the S2000 is SIGNIFICANTLY faster than the RSX-S, driver error should be somewhat forgivable. But our cars are not that much faster than the RSX. I like RSX.

I gotta chance to test drive the RSX-S the other week, very impressive about how easy to drive fast on that thing! I mean, I sift every gear with no RPM drop between shifting all the way to 6th gear, no jerk feeling at all!, seems like the car has only one speed transmition till I shut down. With my S?, no matter how hard I try to drive it smooth, it just doesn't happend!, guess I'm a poor S driver
But on the other hand, the feeling of clutch, rifle action shifting, and worst of all, how the S suck to the ground is just not there! I feel like driving a fast and refinded Civic, no road feel at all neither at steering wheel nor the shift.
I felt I'm faster in the RSX, though, I don't know why.

I owned an RSX-S (wife crunched it) before my S2k- that car is no slouch, but it's just not as fast as an S2k. The i-VTEC in that car is so smooth that it feels slower than it is, at least until you look down at the speedometer.
