Well if you didn't have a passenger it would've been closer. He would have still beaten you, but not until after the 1/4 mile. Once you get to 100mph it's over. Get you're new tires that will help alot. Good race!

your driveing may be better than his , since he only got u ...in like 4th gear , where driveing doesnt matter anymore

Thanks Saud2k, I'm pretty sure it was beggining of 4th or right at the end of 3rd when he got me. I can't remember. I'm thinking of changing the header to the Toda one since it's gotten the best reviews on it and i'm supercharging pretty soon. Theres not to much to say about the comptech header- for what i've found- it doesn't seem to be very popular on the boards.

how much boost was your friend running? if it was 8-10psi he will still beat you no matter what. you have the advantage if you did a dead stop run. he'll just spin 1st and 2nd gear and get traction at 3rd. if you did a roll start 1st or 2nd gear he'll surely pull on you more. a gsr turbo motor on a hatch is an easy 12 sec car. anyways good run

I dont' know how much boost he's running and my friend doesn't know either. No boost gauge is installed at the time. This is probably dangerous for him. The installer tuned it to probably 5-6. i'll confirm it to make sure.
I knew i was going to have the advantage from the start. I was hoping to hold my lead as long as i could. But if were to race him from a roll, he would definetly kick my ass.
If we end up with another boring friday, i'll race him again and video tape it!
