Guys.. I had a 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo before my S2000.
You can see it here.
It was lightly modded... exhaust, turbo timer,HKS super sequential BOV's, and I heard from the P.O. that the heads were ported. (kind of doubt it)
I can tell you for 100% positive, it would eat an S2000 and never look back.
I know because It did just that, with my buddie mike's evo.
It would spin those 245's in first, with no clutch.

Ok well with your exhaust you net what, 30 hp at the wheels [generously] on the twin turbo engine? So you're saying that this 30 hp [none of your other mods net HP except the porting, if it was done] allows you to take the race from absolutely dead even, and maybe even a loss for the Z to "eating" the S and never looking back....
I agree that you *should* win if your car is running well [a scenario rarely achieved by the VG30DETT; any owner can tell you this]. However, the implication in your post makes it seem as if you'd absolutely murder the S, at least to me. I think the race would be a bit closer than this given your mods.

A stock non turbo has 220 HP.
"i started to pull by the time i shifted into second.. pull 1 car in second, as i shifted to 3rd and through 3rd gear, i pulled about a good 3-4 car lenghts on him."
A stock TT has 300HP. It should smoke a stock S2K considering the above results with a 220 HP example.
My modded TT, yes.. it would have murdered an S2K.

Ah, missed that. Well then good kill
Even the Turbo ones are slow. (Stock Form).
You need to take your head out of our nissan polished ass.
Great kill. One of my best friends had a 300ZX NA with bolt ons, port and polished engine and new nismo parted tranny, those were some fun races. He always had me by at least a car from take off all the way until the top of my second gear where my car would come alive. He just needed a set of camshatfs to get that top end he was missing in order to stay with me or beat me. Sadly he had to sell it.
Love the Z32!!!!

I raced a 92 vr-4 from stop light he launched on me but i was catching up real fast but i still lost but when i raced him from a 20 mph roll i beat him by about 3 car lenghts
i think they have a nice launch thats what gives them an advantage in a head to head race but from a roll s2k could take it but i have t1r test pipe and safc2 un-tuned he had exhaust and blow off valve but im not sure if he had anything else

300Z should be real easy for S2k ... 300Turbo should be fun race but still kinda easy , as for VR4 .. my buddy raced one from a 30 MPH roll i believe ..maby a little faster ... The VR4 guy had about a 2 car lead on him from the start ...(he was gonna stay back while the VR4 and a couple other cars went at it ..) anyway .. my buddy pulled on him from the start ..he has 04' S2k With Cold Air Intake at the time ..and pulled by him just fine .. it was a nice race ..i need to link video for it ..
A first gen VR-4 would be more of a driver's race with an S2000.
Good kill, cake... but good kill none the less.
Remember that when you are racing 10 year old cars, that they most likely aren't in optimum running condition.. .. .. but that's THEIR problem!
