Well, my best time so far is 12.7 @ 109 mph, with basic mods, 110hp nos, and a beefed trans. I'm getting twin turbos from blastracing.com soon, so I'll just see my times after I my car is done. What you guys might not know is that when the automatic supra TT came out in '93, they used the '92 sc400 trans, and other stuff. So thats where I get most of my aftermarket performance parts from, other then that, the rest is custom made. So its not hard to break 12's in a sc400. it just cost some money.

Look, I could care less about your SC400. I'd be happy to run you with or without the turbos. Bring $1,000 cash to Houston and my and my little C5 would be happy to take your money.

4th Gen Vette?
I was at thunderhill (hee hee, that was fun!)
I would like to take on a good driver in a Vette, and see what those things can really do. I am decent with my s2000, and I was riding up the butt of the vettes out there. (I dont think the drivers were very good) Straightaway... couldn't catch 'em... but he wasnt losing me either!
most of the 4th gen's I see... those things seem to handle like ocean liners... (I have a friend who has a '93 Firebird, and I have driven it) The back end comes out way to easily.
Just my $0.02
(i'm gonna get flamed for this, aren't I?)

He's GOTTA at least have a driver's permit, ya think? My guess is daddy gave it to him as a hand-me-down to learn how to drive in. Probably using his gas card to do the mods.
If he doesn't crash it before he gets his license, daddy will let him drive the new SC430.
Remember, keep your hands at 10 and 2...

Gameover, I think the only thing quicker than your SC400 is the speed at which you have identified yourself as this forum's troll of the week. Why don't you go visit streetkiaz.com and post the time you raced your neighbor's Caprice Classic with your sister's Subaru Brat? That ought to shake 'em up.
Game over indeed.

Anyway -- being that the C4 vettes run in AS (auto-x) while the S2000 is in BS one would expect the C4 "old" vette to be faster than the S2000.

I'll believe an S2k beating a C4. I've done it. Remember, tho, that the C4's run the gamut from being relatively wimpy (85-86) to being respectable (330hp LT4). I ran an 85, and pulled on him the whole way. Anything post '90, tho, is going to be a fight.
As for Gameover, he's nuts. One, there's no mods (to my knowledge) for the GS400 motor (that aren't complete custom jobs), and yah, while the auto tranny's beefy in that car, it's still an auto. And the GS weighs about 3800. Also, given that the 4l V8 already makes 75hp/L, I doubt you'll get much more out of it w/ simple shit (headers, intake, exhaust). You're not going to pass emissions w/ what you'll have to do to that motor to make significantly bigger power (i.e. cams, four of them). And it'll be _expensive_.
Face it, he's a kid...
Oh, and beating stock manual C5's? I don't think so. let's check the math:
GS400(modded) - 380 crankshaft hp / 3800lb curb weight: 10lbs/hp
C5(stock) - 350 crankshaft hp / 3250lb curb weight: 9.29lbs/hp
Sorry, you're gonna lose. Oh, what's that? Now you've got NOS? Suuuuure....
