S2000 v. G4 Vette
I was coming back from golf yesterday driving down this road which cuts through the land of the old fogies, zipping through them one by one. Zipping through I pass a red G4 Vette (my guess, based on the wheels, was that it was a 96 or a 97). It was a middle aged guy who was out cruising with his kid. He sees me and starts to follow me through traffic to line up for a race. He pulled up side by side with me a couple times, looking over and saying things to the kid. Unfortunately he was never able to line up next to me at a light due to traffic.
We come to a light he pulls up behind me. I know what he's gonna do, so I punch it off the line, and so does he. He gets a little bit closer when I'm in first then swings into an open lane. As soons as I shift to second I gain, and in third I start gaining a lot.
We shut down. I'm slowing to make a turn and he keeps on going. Didn't look over once to see the big shit-eatin' grin on my face. What a shame. I would guess he was talking all kinds of smack to hit kid bragging about that heap of shit vette, and then he gets smoked.
It was a great day off, thats for sure!

So, you spanked the shette huh? I'm happy for. I can't stand vette heads. They think there the sh!t. I always shut them up with my sc400. I beat any vette from 93 - 02, from
auto- manual, and they still talk and give me excuses.
p.s. I got about 370-380 hp at the motor.

See how vette-heads are. They hear a vette lost and they get mad and start talking. hey glen, don't get mad, theres always a car that could beet another. And a vette is not always that car. Why don't you come and try beating this big and heavy sc400. the reason my screen name gameover is because, thats what vette see on my back plates.

Good kill, that's what he gets for underestimating the car.
Just be careful. An LT1 vette will be close. An LT4 vette is in the same league as an LS1 and then there are the ZR1's (LT5).
Gameover: BTW, you would need more than 370 or 380 hp at the flywheel to walk any stock C5. Your car is a whale. (3600+ lbs !!!) C5's are in the neighborhood of 3100-3300 and put out 350 (at least) stock. Nice flame anway troll....
