Default S2000 AP1 vs Altima Coupe

UPDATED JUST NOW**********
DID A LITTLE MORE SEARCH AND FOUND THIS...
this is what altima coupe drivers said about s2000's

http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread?id=467269

im a newbie so... yeah

so i just picked up a s2000 and my cousin has a coupe 3.5 automatic.

he wants to run against me but i havent gotten the time yet.

S2000 AP1 vs Altima Coupe 3.5

he told me he had some CVT transmission. I mean i looked up it up on youtube... and it just basically stays at redline...

S2000 - 2800lbs - 240hp - RWD - 6speed (stock)
Altima - 3200lbs - 270hp - FWD - Automatic CVT (injen short ram intake)

350z and g35 are both v6 3.5 also. but they are RWD
350- 306hp - RWD - 6 speed - 3200lbs
g35 - 298hp - RWD - 6 speed - 3400lbs

i mean if a ap1 goes against a 350z. most likely. a 350z would win. same with a g35.

350z and g35 is not much difference. other then 350z would be ahead by a bit

just curious. no need to flame. who would win in a race from a dig or a roll?

thanks...

i just want to know your opinion. and lets all be honest here =D

found a video

HAHA! Altima? is it stock? If its stock, no problem. a Stock AP1 can hang with the stock 350Z (non HR). I kept up neck and neck with a full exhaust 350z. The only problem is; how good can you drive? him = auto (CVT) you=manual, new car. I suggest you learn how to drive it before you try to race him...and IBTL, since this should be in street encounters...

350's can hang. G's are heavy and slow along with the altima.

That CVT transmission is pretty remarkable. I remember reading about how CVT transmissions would ultimately work this way back about 10 years ago, but I kind of stopped paying attention to them.

If you lose, sell your car and get an automatic because you can't drive worth a damn. Should be a easy kill.
