S/C S2k vs. 98'ish Carrera 4S
I am not sure it was even a race, but I was behind him at a light. He had been driving aggressively and figured he might try and go. Light turns green and he takes off but it wasn't until around 20 mph that I really hear him gun it. I remained behind him, ready. As soon as he went I floored it. Luckily he switched to the left-hand lane at the same time or else I might have ran into the back of him. At around 75 mph I let off and looked around trying to find him but he had dissapeared behind me somewhere.

Those can be a tough one. I was with a friend of mine in his 02 S on a four-lane highway when we came across a Carrera 4S....he got his ass handed to him.

Agreed. S/C will hand that it's ass!
If it's a 355 hp C4S Anniversary with X51 package I believe, it should be very close with the edge to this car!

4Slow, nice kill. The look on a 911 driver's face is always priceless.
That said, a 993 C4 was capable of mid 13's -- not really that much worse than most blown S2000's -- sad as that is. The 996's were a bit faster towards the end, more than capable of running similar times than your average blown S2k -- and in all probability out pacing them from higher speeds to the final velocity which was of course higher too.
That is of course if this story was true in the first place. Odds are it isn't as this was the first post by someone who is more than likely some zit faced 13 year old kid with one hand on his wang.
