I'm not much of a big talker. I like the car to do that. But I always do appreciate a good race. That's why I want to know if he or she has any friend in the south.

Lets see..
A 420 HP S2k....How many RPM do you need to get to, LOL. That car is pretty fast, I make you a deal, I will put 420 HP in my RX and we will race.
Still waiting for my Honda S2k stock to step up to the plate.

Please don't misunderstand me, I don't bash the S2k. I was hoping to race one for fun. I like the S2k. Please read my previous posts. Its a great car. I save my bashing for cars that really deserve it. Mustang, Camaro, Rice Rockets, etc.
By the way that RX looks like mine a 94 with black/tan

"When do we bash the RX-7? All the people I know LOVE the RX-7... it's a bad mofo car, and no one can really deny that. It's too bad that they haven't been made in a while. If they still made new ones, there's a definite chance I'd have one instead of my S2000. Most RX-7's will beat most S2000's, and I don't think there's even much to debate about that. Personally, I love the RX-7. And I would probably love the RX-8, too, except it's an obvious rip-off of the S2000. "
I have a problem with this statement. First the S2k is closer to a Miata than the RX8 and S2K are. Without the miata the s2k would not exist, you have to give it that. The Rx-8 may have taken styling cues from the tail of the S2k, but the car is very original looking. I mean, comeone I LOVE mazda, I love Rotary engines I will be the first to say that the RX8, while having sports car performance is not a "PURE" sportscar like the RX7 or the S2K.
As for the S2k I considered buying it. But I have always dreamed of the RX7 3rd Gen. To me, nothing else is quite right.
Althought the S2k's start button is damn cool.

94rexsf,
Grammar is your friend.
How can the S2k be closer to the Miata than the S2k?
"Were it not for the Miata, the S2k would not exist" -- quite possibly correct. Without the S2k, the RX-8 quite possibly would not exist either. It's a subjective call at best, and I'm not going to continue to waste my time worrying about who inherited what from who. The dude who first made the wheel never gets credit, either, and every car has four of them.
And since you like the S2k's start button, you'll probably be even more excited to find out that the RX-8 has one, in *gasp* the same place, and in the same color. I bet Mazda will be buying the buttons from the same company Honda does.
