Ran a Trans-Am...
Earlier I ran into a red Firebird (or TransAm or whatever crap it was), he kept revving and wanting to run so I obliged. First run from a stop, I launched good and we were even until I couldn't shift into second (my stupid left foot). As a result, he pulled 2 car lengths and we both let off. He knew I messed up.
On a second run from a roll of 25 (in first gear), I started pulling away slowly, and by 80, I was a car length or so in front. We then let off.
On a third run from a stop, I launched pretty good and shifted into 2nd with no problem. This time we were even until about 80, then we let off.
Anyway, I don't know what model or type his car was, but it was surely a V8 of some sort, because of its performance and sound. I also don't know if it was an auto or manual because I couldn't see him behind the very dark tinted windows. But either way, it was a V8 of some sort; definitely not a V6 because I would've blown by a V6 like it was standing still. V6 Firebirds and Camaroes are pretty slow, not even a match for an RSX-S, much less an S2000. Boy, it was a fugly car! Even a Camaro is much better looking. Again, don't know what model it was or what year, but it was in the 90's if not 00's. I don't know much about those cars, and frankly, don't give a crap either. They're fugly and dead (no longer in production).
Though I couldn't see his face, he must've been shocked by my stock 4-banger S. Yee-haw! Isn't the tiny 4-banger impressive?!! Hell yeah! Impressive 4-banger with impressive looks to go along, and gets impressive attention... Oh, my S is all stock for now, except with Comptech filter. CAI and other mods coming soon.

It wasn't a "kill". I never claimed to kill anything. It's just cool to match a V8 with more hp and monster torque.
Anyway, so Firebirds are just like Camaroes? I thought Firebirds have always been faster than Camaroes.
Well, my rear tires are completely bald, so I couldn't (and still can't) launch above 3500RPM; otherwise, it would produce too much wheelspins. I would've passed him if my tires were fuller and thus let me launch at 6K.
If it were an LT1, then I'm not surprised that I hung, even with bald tires. I've beaten one LT1 Camaro in the past, by almost 2 car lengths to 100mph.
Yee haw! Impressive little 4-banger, which also looks pretty damn cute.

Hey, didn't mean to offend, but those domestic owners call import cars much worse names, and sometimes, racist names too.
