It was awesome...on my way to pick up my girlfriend last night i was just cruisin about 65 and a porsche passes me, I was like AWESOME, maybe he'll play..

SOO... i drop it down and catch back up to him and ride next to him, im back in 5 gear at about 80.....i do this for a minute or so and he hammers it, so i slam it into fourth, and once again i didnt go to 3rd, but surprisingly enough he wasnt pulling, well maybe a LITTLE bit, but then we came to some traffic and he darted around them, i did the same and once it cleared he was two cars ahead and kept it floored, i was doin 100 when the traffic came up and once i got around the cars i was doin maybe 80, i didnt feel like chasin him down so i slowed...

BUT, the main thing is i hung with him, i think had i dropped it into third i could have actually gained more ground......
it was mid to late nineties, didnt get a good look at the back but it was probably the 320 hp version.. He was fast though... .

They weigh ~3100 lbs. Not unbelievable that a S/C S2000 would be faster. You just got to learn where to shift. The Turbos make 400 HP, unlikely you would hang a gear too high unless they were not racing.

 

The 911 turbo is 415 hp twin turbo. I think u should have taken him quite easily. They are low-mid 13 sec cars and with an S/c u are making 285whp or so. I am kinda surprised u didn't waste him.

 

Supercharged S200's struggle to run low to mid 13's .....

 

I'm not sure if I'm reading these posts correctly but there is no way a supercharged S2000 is running with a 911 TT... only when parked are they even close.

Some of you have trouble reading or maybe comprehending. He never mentioned anything about a twin turbo Porsche. The 320 hp is a carrera.

And again quoting 1/2 times on the street is irrelevant. Specially from a roll.

 

I'm well aware that the race wasn't against a TT 911... I was referring to the posts by 99GT and Vir2L. There's no need to make a derogatory posts like you did especially with grammar as lacking as yours.
