Not much of a "race" -- although at 9PM I-90 across Mercer Island is anything but deserted and therefore not the place to push your luck.

Anyway we found an open spot, I was at about 7000 and punched it -- he did the same and he was ever so slowly closing the gap I got when I made the jump. It was only maybe an 80-110 run -- eventually he would have caught me -- but then again eventually he would run out of steam at 137 (speed limiter) and at that point I could run away

Anyhow too bad there were other people on the road (I have no problems risking my own neck but won't risk the necks of others) and too bad I had to exit sooner than later, we could have had some more fun.
