Ran a 350z yesterday!!
My Friend's sister just bought a brand new Z auto. She broke it in ...(1500 miles) and he brought it to my house to play. I had just finished changing a burnt out fog light on my Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited (AWD), and I asked him to race me for sh!ts and giggles.
We went to an open, vacant back road and decided to let loose. The first race he kept traction control on and I started the race with 1-2-3--GO! I took him off the line and kept the lead till about 52 mph He passed me at around 61 or so and pulled hard.
The second race he turned the traction control off...He said 1-2-3-GO! He spun his wheels and I kept the lead to about 73 needless to say he caught me again and passed at about 77-80 mph. I Was pretty impressed with my Jeeper! Thought you S2kers might be interested in a Z struggling (down low) with a Jeep.
I work at Honda, and I am trying to arrange a race with an S2k.
I will let you know the results! Soon I hope!

Right...
With TCS on you can NOT get off the line without loosing all power basically, the car will barley move for a while. With it off, you cn spin the tires for a loooooooooong time if you do not do it right. I goofed a launch vs. a camaro and I sat there spinning, barley moving at all.
And considering the speed he passed you at, he was not behind you for very long at all. It was just enough time to get over the two horrible launches.
Anyways, good race, good kill..
