Just saw one on the road yesterday, and it was a turbo. It looked pretty quick and it was an automatic. Did some research and it is a 215 horse 2.4 L with 245 lbs. of torque. WOW, that should move it along well! It also comes with a 5-speed; anyone encounter one on the road. It's a type of vehicle that you either love or hate. I kinda like it, but my wife and daughter think they are ugly. Oh well, to each their own.

A non-turbo 5sp. does 17's. The new turbo 5sp. should do 16's maybe 15's with a good driver. Compared to an S2000, yeah, it's slow. But then, compared to a Z06 or a Viper SRT, the S2000 is slow too. So you say if you put a turbo with high boost on an S2000, it might surprise a stock Z06. They'll do stuff to a turbo PT that might surprise an S2000. It just never ends.
ps. My wife has a PT 5sp. and it works for her. And even I get a kick out of driving it once in a while. (And of course it's embarassing to think that any PT could possibly be quick when we sit on the S2000 alter.)

PT cruiser are as slow as hell. in stock for i think it will run between 17.5-18 seconds in the 1/4 at under 80mph.
with a turbo or a sc kit, it might bring that time down to 16 flat - 16.5 in the 1/4. worse than a stock CIVIC Ex.
