The MODS in this forum are lacking. Period. I do not mean to offend anyone, but if you take a look at other forums you will see a BIG lack of BS as compared to this one when the mods are on the ball.
oh god look out, we have a liberal in the house. everyone here should be policed, no freedom of speech. jeezus.
starting to sound like a mod i used to know. sometimes you must decipher the people who are just naysayers, and those who are telling the truth. then decide where you stand. dont just assume, and judge.

your a clown.
The problem with this forum is that the "street encounters" from a standing start always put our cars at a disadvantage. They are not drag racers. From a standing start, they are disadvantaged by lack of torque. Many cars will defeat us in this.
You telling me your car is "disadvantaged" in any shape or form? Hack NO!! So I basically "straightened" him up. Everyone here KNOWS by now what your magical S can do...myself included .

My issue is with the stupid claims of beating cars you had NO WAY of beating in a race. They are at the light with you and you FLOOR the piss out of your car and the F430 owner is thinking "WTF?!" and you post up a 15 car kill on it and NOONE SAYS ANYTHING ABOUT IT! Stuff like..."he could have hooked better and pulled the F430" "Man, VTEC owned" "Could have been the driver".

In some cases. THIS IS VALID! but I have seen a lot of them that it is not. No mod ever stepped in on it either. If you want to see a properly moderated kill-forum, check out http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=36
www.350z-tech.com has an OK kill-forum. I have not seen one on par with LS1tech.com's though. That one is a great forum!

So let's talk about who we took on in the twisties! We can out manuever most anything.
um.. nope.

s2k is a decent handler, but you won't out run most of cars.
because it's more of the driver rather than the what car you're in.

but still it's not bad for 30k.

On the LS1tech forums there are a lot of guys killing semi-experienced bikes in the mountains. The posts are few-far between but usually made by those with full suspension and 700+whp.

Hmm.. I guess you aren't biased. People who have LS1's are obviously going to believe and accept kill stories that favor their breed...

In answer to the question, no, I'm not FI. I just have a CAI on the car that was part purchased and part fabricated. It does a better job than any other CAI I've test driven, but we all know that CAI's really don't do a whole lot for perofrmance.

The more I think about it, I think that the poster who said the Vette wasn't really racing me but was just sitting back laughing his ass off was right. That's probably exactly what happened. The Vette just didn't come on strong enough. Either that, or there were mechanical problems with the Vette.

Thanks,
Richard

the problem is that s2000's are getting cheaper and hondatech ppl are upgrading to s2000's. thats why the forum is degrading. street encounters is beginning to sound like honda tech's. funny =]

I told him that if he got in an SLK 55 AMG to call me, as I wanted to take a test drive. He did, and I did, and the car had much more low end "grunt" than my s2k. But above 50 mph in acceleration, I think the s2k would have walked away.
Not getting off topic here, but I don't think so.
