Tired of hearing were at a disadvantage from a stand still, when its the drivers race i have many times raced GT V-8 Mustangs and have came out victorious, truth is like one said before we are relatively light and from a dig, if you have any skill in launching you can give quite a run to all these V-8's who frown upon us because we have an Inline 4. IMO Rolling races have no skill involved, if you race, race from a dig, cause your not always sure the other guy is gonna gain traction at the beginning of the race. RACE From a DIG, our cars only carry this twistie rep cause you guys encourage the fact that we SUCK from a dig. Well WE DON"T!!!!! :-)
You guys think it's hard to launch a S2K, trying launching a C5 with more than twice the hp and torque on IRS. Now if I ran around on ET Streets it would be a different story.

Having studied theology in college (which apparently you have not) I know that there is nothing about the existance of early man that denies the theory that he was created by a higher being. Furthermore, the reference to "days" in Genesis I is a mistranslation of an Aramaic word that more correctly translated into the word "eras." Also, according to all the surveys I have seen, the majority of Americans (and the vast majority or Europeans) do not believe in a literal interpretation of Genesis I.

There was early man many, many thousands of years ago. Millions of years before that, there were dinosours. Get over it.
There are so many theories and so many holes in them that you CANNOT logically rule one of them out. Pick something, and belive in it. Who's right? Baptists or Catholics? Can you PROVE IT? Not really...everyone must belive SOMETHING, so pick what YOU want and be happy.

(but you should still respect what OTHER's choose, unless it negatively impacts you).

PS> The S2K can pull low 60's just like other rwd stuff out there. Why the whimpering?

racing from a roll proves nothing but power and mabey some skill. Its the majority of what we read because its not like you can line up with a car thats willing to race from a stop and even if they are, trying to find a nice long safe straight with a stoplight is just to hard nowadays, atleast here it is.

Yea I understand that a full balls to the wall launch will eventually take it's toll on the S's Diff, and of coarse the clutch...But when your door to door with a '97 Cobra with a hand full of mods from a roll....and then you take it to a red light, and put 2 cars on him, while he's taunting your "lack of torque" second's before the race begins..Make's it worth it to some. 1.9 60'ft stock car, tires, and pressure, is still a highly capeable hole shot car IMO. But like the OP say's, be prepaired to possibly open up your wallet. Even though I personally never had any problems.

the problem with this forum is all the petty bitching that goes on. we have haters, delusionals, know it all's and morons that live here. you've got thread high-jackers galore and trash talkers in every thread.

kinda like this thread, its suppose to be about the s2k's supposed "lack of drag racing prowess", but you got guys talking religion in the middle of it. WTF?

if we all stay OT, and keep the BS e-thuggin to ourselves SE would be 100000000000x's better.

if you dont know the facts on a matter, then dont pretend too. like the OP that thinks that because he cant drive HIS s2k fast in a straight line that ALL s2ks must suck at the drags. mine seem to run the 1320 like a champ. see my sig for details.

let keep it real in here and cut the crap. ANYTHING can happen on the streets, and guess what it usually does.

The MODS in this forum are lacking. Period. I do not mean to offend anyone, but if you take a look at other forums you will see a BIG lack of BS as compared to this one when the mods are on the ball.

My problem with this section isn't with the outrageous and unbelievable claims of kill stories. I can even handle the idiots who ALWAYS start their stories off with "Ya I was driving my girlfriend home last night after going to the gym (I'm a bodybuilder)..."

What I can't take in this forum is people making blanket statements about different autos just because they happen to either beat a crappy driver or rice-raced a car that didn't even know they were racing.

Example... "hahahaha, this is comical. dude, my NA s2k will annihilate a 335i. i already crush stock E46 M3, what makes you think an SC s2k would be within a mile of a 335i??? so your saying that an sti will be close to the 335i ??? doubt it."
