I never take for granted that I can beat another car, even SC'd. You just never know what's out there. Especially, when someone else instigates.

You're getting ripped off. I paid about 12 bucks a piece for the OEM Platinums from manhonda.com.
I went to every local CT parts dealer while I was home, including two dealerships. Now don't ask me why, but for some reason a lot of 5th Gen Luders have trouble when they switch plug brands so I didn't want to bother taking my chances. The list price per plug hovered around 27 bucks for someone off the street. Thankfully I paid a little less than that. Even the store owners were surprised. Thank God I get a discount.

Never pay retail.

I always order via the internet. I believe manhonda is actually in CT, but it's probably cheaper to order via the net than to walk into the dealership and buy them. Also, the OEM Platinums are NGK plugs, and if you don't mind replacing plugs more often, you can probably go with the equivalent NGK coppers. You can probably find them for under 2 bucks a piece. When I had my Prelude, I used to have the part number for the coppers, but I don't have it any more.
Either way, if you decide to stick with the Platinums, you should be paying less than $15... not $27.
