well, its not hard to make over 600 hp with this car, but with the CGT making over that, and phil ran right with him, im saying youd better watch yourself if your gonna run him. phils car isnt even cranked either, he could still add spray, and get a nice huge exhaust and J's header, and im sure 500 wheel would be a cakewalk. ive ridden in the car, it is quite frankly, rediculous.

Thanks for the warning, but as I said before, I'm not concerned. Sideways has yet to respond. Sounds like you know him . . . ask him if he wants to line up.

i likey, that tt probably has more than just a chip based on the look

Race him from a dig or better yet race him from roll on just start at 100 mph and see how long he keeps up.

These threads get so stupid, i had a civic that from roll would beat 90% of the s2000s with bolt ons and my total cost was under 15K. I had also beat c5 vettes from rolls, did i post at corvetteforums.com!?

There are several tt's that have beat the carrera gt and on video to prove it, i just dont know how much this really matters.

Stock S2k LBS/BHP (2800/240) = 11.6
Sideways LBS/RWHP (2800/500) = 5.6
Sideways LBS/BHP (2800/590) = 4.7 (Hp at the crank est @ ~18% Drivetrain loss)
hahah where did you get that rediculous figure from?

s2000's don't have 18% drive train loss.

did he convert it to AWD or something?

don't stock s2k's have 240bhp and roughly 215-220whp?

where the hell is 18% coming from? I must be missing something.

I was enjoying the beautiful morning and playing in traffic. I mixed it up with a Turbo S for a couple miles and was waiting for him when he cleared the traffic bolus behind us.
I was holding the speed steady at 63mph in 3rd gear while the Porsche came up. When he reached my back bumper he floored it as did I. I pulled him a couple car lengths by 9200 rpm when I shut down. At this point I see radar cops in the bushes 200 yards away. Busted..OOps.

The cop had a grin and had me very nervous for a few minutes. I didn't know what to think when the other cop called over and wanted to know the vechicle code section for Porsche loosing to a Honda. A little levity sure helps. I just knew it would be a big fat racing ticket and loss of car and............

It turned out they had us on their new fangled multi target radar the whole stretch from their vantage point. He picked me up at 63 and watched me go to 95. The Porsche gave up at 87 after I shutdown at 95 according to the cop. Damn, they got me dead to rights.

The porsche guy got cited for 85 and reckless driving.
I was let go with a warning and a no front plate ticket. I guess it beats going to traffic school. Win:Win:Win
Let me get this right, you got clocked going 95 mph and he got clocked going 85 and the police knew you both were racing, and you got off and he did not....not only is the outcome of suspicious nature but the story is as well...

Regardless, your math doesn't add up. Go back to school.

mathmaticly thats 210whp and 240bhp end up being roughly 12.5%~ drive train loss.
