Poor Turbo Porsche, lost to an S2000
#31
When a S2k loses to a Civic, the S2k guy thinks, "Yeah, but you're still driving a POS Civic." When a Turbo S loses to a S2k, does the Porsche guy think, "Yeah, but you're still driving a POS S2k"? Just curious.

Haha. Quad turbos wouldn't be enough for the porsche to keep up with sideways. ~500 whp 10k redline and so forth. One of the fastest s2000s on the planet. If not THE fastest.
u have no idea how many fast porsches are rolling around

No, both are great cars. Any enthusiast respects that fact. Cheap or expensive. Of course, ass clowns (see the likes of Joke above) are outside of that ruleset.

...just trying to give you what you crave Steve...
Anyway... in response to Kumar... If we are going to sit here and bring such cars into mix... hell- I'm sure there are a few out there with V8's dropped in- completely gutted with a shell that denotes it as formerly being an s2k... but then again- does just having an s2k body still make it an s2000?
For someone to pull 800hp... I can't imagine that car resembling an s2000 in any fashion other then the above. So if we want to get into semantics... my literal statement referrenced "daily drivers" because technically he has done about as much to oem vehicle as possible without completely gutting it and starting over from scratch... which is what would be necessary to get more hp then he has. The only point that would serve is to get a lightweight, dragster... which technically... is no longer an s2k...
but that's just IMO.
...but thanks for over-interpreting my statement...

You also missed the part wherein any S2k pushing that much power is in fact not a car 99.999 percent of us would want to drive daily. Thing is -- so many of the folks here have never modded a car -- they have no idea what a ****ing pain in the ass taking a car to that extreme becomes -- and how driving it changes. Grabby clutches, overheating, detonation ... suspension groans etc.
...don't let this go to your head steve...

no one ever said that the car had to be daily driven at 800whp. i simply corrected a statement that was wrong when someone said it was the "fastest" S2000 on the forums or in the USA. daily driver existed nowhere in that sentence, so honestly that discussion has no relevance to the original statement.
that said, the one S2000, yes, is daily driven, but obviously he turns the boost down to 18psi or so, rather than the 34psi when pushing 800whp at the track.

You're funny. You tell other people to get their facts straight, yet in another thread you claimed a gixxer 750 has 123 crank hp, when in fact it is rwhp.
Relax yellow, people make mistakes.
Back on topic, did the cop let you go cause you cried like a little girl?
Just kidding dude, you're lucky.
