Guy. Get your facts straight. The Carrera GT is NA. read: no turbo or twin turbos. And yes, it can lose.
woops. i try to limit myself to 2 mistakes per thread so i'll shut up now

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore the s2000... it is my next car, that's why i'm here. I would love to see a video of the s2000 beating a carerra gt or even a 911 for that matter. anybody have any links?

Haha. Quad turbos wouldn't be enough for the porsche to keep up with sideways. ~500 whp 10k redline and so forth. One of the fastest s2000s on the planet. If not THE fastest.
No quad turbos here . . . I only have two . . . but I'm confident thats all I'll need. Im about an hour North of Sideways and Ill gladly line up with him if he ever ventures into LA.

I'd like to see the 996 race... though unless your car has shed about 400lbs and/or gained about 200hp...

it might be tough...

There really isn't a S2k faster then sideways in the US.

Very nice run and of course I was sleeping in from the Stones show.

So can I go up to LA with you to do the camera work?

Stock S2k LBS/BHP (2800/240) = 11.6
Sideways LBS/RWHP (2800/500) = 5.6
Sideways LBS/BHP (2800/590) = 4.7 (Hp at the crank est @ ~18% Drivetrain loss)
Stock 996T LBS/BHP (3600/444) = 8.1
Enzo LBS/BHP (3020/660) = 4.5
Carrera GT LBS/BHP (3042/612) = 5

You would have to have 642 hp to the wheels to = Sideways lbs to hp ratio.
If you do have that much nice ride. nice ride regardless

Are you gonna race him from a roll? Please get this on video.
