I'm impressed with the demeanor and general intelligence with which this guy "996TT" seems to write. We could use (more than) an occasional injection of this style here at s2ki. Of course, as several have pointed out, it appears there are blowhard "enthusiasts" everywhere....including over at the Porsche site.
I'm certainly NOT a 996TT expert, but, with Craig's(?) loooooong list of modifications, I'd think our local socal hero, Sideways, may have his work cut out.

^ I agree, but who cares its all in fun right Seriously though, that would be a badass race to watch (we need a camera in each car or a very fast pace car)
Purple Sky...Lol, sure Id race Sideways, and hope that he does get sideways so I have a chance

Hehe, I wouldn't be taking any bets on this one. I couldn't say which is faster, but I'm not willing to bet anything in my wallet on it.

I dont understand why sideways wants a few car lengths head start, was he not going to race a viper with nitrous.
This just makes me wonder what really happened with the sideways vs viper race that never happend. I think sideways chickened out, the same way he is with 996TT

I'd say not so much as chickened out as more like he knows what he can and cant beat.
there will always be someone faster out there.

If he knows he can be beat then just say so
