Poor Turbo Porsche, lost to an S2000

Why do people insist on logging on here and create a 6 page post about who's faster and then no results. Why not settle it on the road instead of in a forum, which amounts to nothing but a "who's dick is bigger contest" Where is ol' sideways???? He is MIA right now I was waiting for a reply, so we could get this thing going but guess not. I mean these people all have fast cars, but everyone needs to remember that someone somewhere will have a car that can beat yours!!
Hell maybe I will bring my Dad's ol' chevelle out for some fun
Here is an older picture when it was putting down around 1100rwhp

yes there are alot of high end exotics and imports. the supras have made the biggest dent up there. the turbo busa (310 wheel) VS a supra, the supra hit 200+ at the bridge, and the busa was at 197. these are rough figures.(claimed by onwers)
and i have to agree with lieberman, anything is possible. thats why we do it on a 7/10 mile stretch. if you have THAT much more HP. youll pull. if your not happy, with the result, do it over again.
as for the nsx VS the 996tt, dude, 600 wheel porsche, driving all 4, and weighs 3300 or so. and the nsx weighs in around 2700 and has over 600 wheel, driving only 2 wheels, who do you think is gonna win?
yes there are some silly cars running around up here. and thats what our meet is for, its the *who is the biggest* meet. so far, havent seen an official race, but a guy i know has a GT2 that he claims is stock, yet he has followed some of these races, and has to pedal to keep from hitting them. so i know hes modded, now i just wanna see how much. i know him by name, so when he runs, officially, ill video it. cause this GT2 is rediculous.
hehe. anyways, have a nice day, and i hope phil chimes in with SOMETHING on here. hes fast as hell, but a 996tt close to 800 HP, uhm, phil, youd better bring some preparation H.
laters guys. dave

Also, I can see why that NSX smoked the Porsche considering the power to weight ratio. Must be amazing to see an NSX beating supercars. It would be great to see videos of the various Porsches racing, win or lose. That GT2 sounds strong if it needs to brake to avoid rear ending the cars racing, assuming they are fast cars.
Please post more pics if you have them. Thanks again.

Sideways has responded on another s2ki.com thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry6525930
The following is my respnse to his post, which is germane to the discussion here:
Sideways,
Glad to hear from you. FWIW, I was not one of those who doubted the veracity of your original account, and my offer to run you was not made in response to your original story. Rather, I personally have no trouble believing that a higher HP, lighter S2000 can pull a lower HP, heavier car . . . its simple physics. What prompted my post was the subsequent comments of certain of your brethren, who suggested that a 996TT could not possibly match up with your impressive S2000, absent

What do you guys think about BIG bad mega $ Porschaphile picking a race with a little two liter Honda? Protocol calls for some offer of handicap from the larger engined, higher boosted, apparently quicker car. I'm not even aware how big that thing is with the built bottom end.

Craig, lets get together sometime next week (hopefully this weather will clear up) and record some runs for posterity (I saw a 6speeder said something about a new camera, and I have no idea where mine is).

I'm impressed with the demeanor and general intelligence with which this guy "996TT" seems to write. We could use (more than) an occasional injection of this style here at s2ki. Of course, as several have pointed out, it appears there are blowhard "enthusiasts" everywhere....including over at the Porsche site.
I'm certainly NOT a 996TT expert, but, with Craig's(?) loooooong list of modifications, I'd think our local socal hero, Sideways, may have his work cut out.
