Mods, kill this thread - PLEASE. There should be no doubt now about the ugliness of this particular troll.

He mentioned it becoming an 11 second car. My guess is a blower or some sort of power adder,so the higher compression wouldn't be helpful there. Could be wrong though.

Did someone say 11 second car?

He's gonna be using NOS. I don't think that small increase with the right timing and fuel management would cause any harm. But then again, I dunno.

I wanna say that the stock motor has 9.85:1 compression and the headswap cars have 10.5:1 but I'm not sure. I know the compression is significantly higher with the headswap. But with a good tuner that could probably be worked around.

I'd say for the rest of the cost to do a full swap, it wouldn't be hard to work around...hell, you could buy some lower compression pistons if you determined to keep the compression down!

All of yall are crazy. I don't even know what ya'll are talking about. It is not even sane. I will have a 100-150 shot, 4.10's, and drag radials in two weeks, and yes I am shooting for 11.9@ at least 110. No bullshit. I will post timeslips when it is done Right now with this set up I am shooting for 13-13.5 @102-105, this is a much faster time and trap speed than any bolt on s2k so what the hell is so hard to beleive??????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????????????????????????? It is pretty simple. When I get gears and radials high mid-high 12's will not be uncommon. I will beat a bolt on s2k.
