Default Nissan Maxiam

Hey guys, I'm new to this section of the forum... This wasn't really a race but if I did race I think I would have had my a$$ handed to me. I was driving down on Union turnpyke last night when I was a car in the back coming up pretty quick, but there was a stop light in front of us. The street is a two lane street so he pulls up next to me, he didn't rev or anything, I looked in his car and saw a early 20's guy driving or younger, who knows these days. lol
But when the light turned green dude took off, I was like, holy $hit.. I don't think he even floored it. But dude kept going and I was stepping on it a little hard. The maxiam looked very new, I think it looked like an 08...
Has anyone encountered the new maxiam before and if so, how did you do against it?

Oops, I'm at work and I'm constantly looking behind me so I'll be spelling things wrong.
But the maxima I encountered last night took off pretty fast. I have a t1r single v3 a k&n drop in and HTG clutch package, i thought I would be able to keep up with just half gas. I guess that silencer is holding me back.

well, you may be unaware, but our cars have VTEC, and that's where we make our power. And to fully utilize VTEC, you should be WOT.

Yeah, I was under vtec...

If you are not driving like you just stolen an S2K , then you might as well return it back to the original owner .

if you aren't using VTEC, stick to civics and RX8s

Most people in the general population should not engage in street racing in any form. You may want to consider this statement very carefully.
