Nismo 350z vs MY01 s2k
I lost but damn was it close.
This 350z had been following me for a mile or two. We rolling into a light and he pulls into the lane next to me. We didn't launch, but I did let the clutch out alittle faster then normal. I instantly drop to his passanger side door through 1st and to his rear tire through 2nd. We run the entire length of 3rd and 4th gear w/ the 350z holding the same lead over me.

Thats because you didn't launch. The Z's toque gave him the jump in the beginning, and your gearing and weight kept you there afterwards. If you had launched you would have gotten him. Good run either way.

Sorry ... Hijack..... launch and clutch Qs
everytime I hear people "Launch" at
4-5-6-7000 rpm
I feel like time going to just smell the clutch and burn the tires...
I have a my05 and was told there is a part that
prevents you from dropping the clutch... and just glides on
no snappy clutch
I cant get a 2gear churp.... 1gear to 8000 and bamn as fast as I can to second
nothin... well they are NEW rubber... Soft rubber
even at 3 and 4th at 8000 and shift hard and fast...
it seems like it slowly catches
I have been driving a clutch for 22 year and know how to churp tires with a GOOD clutch

I believe this is your issue; there's a delay on 04+
