Night of races inc. Turbo B16 hatch
Last night was a pretty good night of races. First off I raced an SI with a 60 shot of nos and took him by about 1.5 lengths each of the two times we raced. My second two races of the night were against a Turbo B16 Civic hatch. The first time I took him through second (people said there was a lot of wheel spin and I had at least 2-3 lengths at the start), and he caught up and pulled in third. The second time was the same story but he missed third, so chalk one up for the underdog!
There was a SC'd Teg LS that wanted to race an LS with only intake and exhaust. Get this, the I/E LS won both times!!! Guess he has a good engine because the SC'd LS had just a little wheelspin and didn't miss a gear. Definitely the surprise of the night.
There were also two Galant VR-4's out, a white one with a 16g w/ basic mods (intake, downpipe, exhaust, boost controller) and a grey one with a built motor, 18g and a screwed up tranny (almost impossible to get into second). It wasn't even funny, the white VR-4 took the grey by at least 2-3 lengths.
That same Turbo civic had been talking smack about the white VR-4 for months and it was time to lay the smack down!! To keep a short story short it was a demolishment (hey, i made up a word!) the VR-4 took the civic by at least a half mile. Well maybe not that big but it truly was buslengths.
I have vidoes of the VR-4 vs VR-4 and the SC'd Teg and reg Teg but with no sound if anyone wants to see them. I'm working on putting some music in with the videos to make it somewhat entertaining. I know I hate watching videos with no sound at all.

Sounds like a good night... Did you get that turbo in yet?? I finally swapped out my winter tires for some BFG G-force KDW's.... Decent tires, but my stock suspension kills their effectiveness around the turns... I think it's time for some H&R race springs...

I vote for freak of nature. He has beaten several cars that should have killed him. The turbo is on backorder at turbonetics (4-6 weeks). I think when I get the turbo, I'm going to be running slicks or something close to that.
