this is too funny, s2000 vs m5, and the s2000 ahead? - the m5 has 400hp + stock and that's correct 0-60 in 4.6 and 13.08 in the 1/4 stock - m5 was racing you in reverse right? a vortech s2 with low compression pistons, gears, and clutch might be able to run against an m5, but again on the freeway the m5 has it's a$$.

This is coming from a guy who just posted beating a '99 Porsche 911 with a near-stock S2000? 911 and M5 are roughly in the same ball-park of straightline performance.

What you said above could be said about your race also. Who knows, stuff happens. Here's your thread: http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=178622

Also, there's another guy who also hung with a modded C5 with his near-stock S2K too. The same can be said about his race. Either the 3 of you made these up, or they really happened. So, which one is it? What are the odds of that? 3 cars of similar performances got beaten or equaled by 3 stock or near-stock S2K. Not calling BS here, just wanting to clarify the stories for myself and others.

For those of you who have never driven a properly sc s2000 and love to say that it can't hang with an m3 or m5 you need to educate yourself a bit more. I haven't run off the hole just rolling in first and let me tell its the other way around. It's bye bye for both. Can I get a witnessed please......... Amen. Trust me there was a couple of s2k members that were there. Black 02 smg m3 coupe. about 3 to 4 cars to 4th. Twice.

yah right.....I don't want to dog the s2000 but you saw the video of the slk32 beating a supercharged s2000. The m3 will beat that. SMG'S suck, not very many people are happy with them. A 6 speed manual is a different story. We have footage of an slk32 beating an s2000, and I have footage of an m3 beating an slk32(which I will post) So its hard to say, but I still give the edge to the m3.

I've had a run in with an E46 convertible m3 a few times, a coupe e46 and an m5.

The Convertible had no shot at me from a 60mph roll up to 130mph. Walked him with ease.

I pulled 2 cars immediately on the coupe from a 25mph roll, and then we stayed close to even until the top of 2nd (70-80mph) where I pulled another car or so. Shut down at 100mph with me ahead by 2-3 cars.

The M5, from a dig, stayed dead even until 45-50mph and then he started to walk until I hit the top of 2nd and we stayed even. He won by about 1/2 a car length, but I think I would have taken him if would have launched at 4500 instead of 2000rpms. That race was when my clutch as fading on me so i was takin it easy on it.

All and all, they're fast ass cars and an M5 should have no problem walking an S2k with "bolt-ons" unless one of those bolt ons blows a vast amount of air into the intake or maybe an ice cold blast of air

What are you saying?
Again making yourself look stupid. Look kid I ran a mustang with my tercel and I beat it, it only happened ones but it happened. It doesnt mean anything, do you know the factors for the outcome of the race? NO, so shut up. By numbers the S/C S2000 will run with them, what happened with the C32 once doesnt mean anything. Because you have F/I doesnt mean you have done right lots of times. Tunning plays a huge role on F/I, specially in the F20C. Why dont you go crawl back under the rock you came from.

yah make excuses.........thats always the story. Face it post a video with proof . Do we have proof? YES,the video I posted is proof. Again I don't have anything against the s2000 but man he got his supercharged ass handed to him. Exactly what would happen with a new(manual) m3.
