New High Speed Record...169 MPH!!!
#21
Well, I know this doesn't count because it isn't an s2000, but I have personally seen a modified Ferrari F355 break 300 kph (187 mph or thereabouts). Most incredibly FAST car I've ever seen...

hey wes, good run....
i posted last week about hitting 165 (269kph) with the hardtop on - a few revs left, but i chickened out.
my question then was, what do you think the speedo error is at those speeds?
you didn't by any chance have a g-tech? would have made for a great comparo.....
good show.
regards.

To those who asked, the car was perfectly fine, no lifting, no feeling of lack of control. The engine acted fine afterwards, the engine temps were fine, nothing appeared out of the ordinary.

Why doesnt somebody test their actual max speed on a dyno to see what the car can actually do. I have some video of an accord with a 2.2L prelude motor going over 175.
