I'm not sure what officers in Georgia make, but I can tell you that these are the salaries of our officers over here in California. One thing to consider in those numbers as insane as it looks, most of their base salaries are around 60-90K. When you put in an extra ~20hrs+ of OT a week, practically every week, those numbers start to inflate drastically. If you consider that most of those officers are putting in close to 12 hr days, 5-6 days a week, and you consider what they're actually in charge of, you'll realize that those salaries really aren't that much.
