MY07 vs 05 STi & RSX Type S
Nothing special, just like to share these with yall.
Got MY07 new back in August, raced my friend's STi after break-in. 2~3 cars length since he missed 2nd. he prolly will smoke my ass if he didn't miss 2nd.
Last Sat went to Houston, did a run for fun with my friend's RSX type s. start from red light, i launched @ 6k, my first time ever perfect launch. around 1.5 car length in 1st, then 3 cars length in 2nd. I stopped around 65 mph, friend next to me said about a good 5 cars length.
MY07 with K&N intake
RSX type S is stock completely.

Are the 06-07's STI's faster than the previous models? I was under the impression that they were. However, had a nice lil run in with an STI last night (06-07). He had a passenger and I was alone. We dropped 4th on the freeway twice and ended up being dead dead even both times. Interestingly, we dropped 3rd the last time and I ended up pulling by a lil over a car. Just wondering if they are faster than the previous ones because my car is no slouch (factory freak), (many many instances) and he definately was trying as he kept provoking me. Turbo cars are fun to race when they are close because you can hear the difference in gearing as AP2's have to shift 15 times to turbo's 3 times...lol

nothing interesting about it. 3rd gear will get you much better results when roll racing, 3rd gear vs 4th in the s2k is like night and day.
factory freak huh? haha! any dyno's?

Sti's aren't that fast from a roll. I raced my friend's sti with intake, exhaust, and a cobb tune. I was in my '05 S with just a test pipe. He only had me by a car length all the way to 120.
