No, it means you're not shifting fast enough.

Generally, if you have a bad launch, you'll still run a very similar trap to what your highest trap would be.

If you're trapping less than 98/99 mph, then you're shifting too slow.
Or maybe humidity killed me?... lol. Launching from 5500 RPM didn't make me bog at all, but it does make me have some time out of VTEC, which isn't good for time or trap speed.

Seems like I shift pretty fast, but I'll be going to the track again this wednesday, so I'll post up some more times again to let you guys know how I did.

I'll try launching the car from 6k this time though.

[QUOTE=8kGoodENuff,Jul 20 2006, 11:06 AM]Either way... it felt really good trapping at higher speeds than the 300-hp Mustang.

Don't try to insult V8 in this forum dude, because I did before and your thread will end up with few pages more

Some V8 diehard will stand up to show you the # like: V8 > I4 → V8/letter > I4/letter → 8/4 > 4/4 → 2 > 1... whatever...

btw: Nice run & thanks for your info.
Not trying to insult the V8 guys... I was stating what happened and it felt damn good doing it cause they're the ones that can't accept the fact the some I-4 can keep up with V8's...
