Let's look at the basics here... both cars have roughly the same power and the S2000 is at least 400 pounds lighter... do the math. The S2000 is superior.

Oh yeah, A stock V-6 Accord cannot hit 13's stock. The best documented time I have seen is a high 14.2.
You got to look at the torque numbers for the Accord. They a not slow and it could come down to a driver's race between the two.

Oh and my wife has a 05 so I got some seat time.

a second's difference in the 1/4 is VERY much based on the driver.

the guy in the accord could have been pretty good, and yeah, those things pull HARD. had one surprise me by keeping up with my old civic that ran a 13.7

Accord V6 6spd are quick and easier to drive than a s2k. I don't doubt that a v6 can take a s2k with a bad driver . Buddy of mine has a 03' Accord V6 with intake, exhuast..... He consistantly runs 14 flat.

dont forget guys that in the runs the accord was always the car following the s, in the straight line speed always the car behind has the advantage of less drag (slip stream), if the s was the car behind it would benefit even more bcz it already has a higher drag c than the accord.

Hey guys... forgot to mention one small (LARGE... lol) important point... remembered over the weekend...

I had the Top Down too... hehe... oops...

Yeah... as long as we're right at 6k, our S pulls like a MoFo. At one point I remember taking off in 3rd @ 6k and I pulled pretty good.

Mid 13 is with the perfect conditions as well. At or below see level and dry, cool air etc.

Umm mid 13 for a stock S is a bit far fetched.
