Default MY06 vs 06 Accord V6

Yesterday coming home from work, I got into my spirited driving on the highway like I usually do to escape the work thinking before getting home and this accord V6 just comes out of no where and starts tailing me. Without any organization, I just take off and I think he was waiting cause there was no hestitation on his part when I took off... anyway... I thought I'd pull a lot harder than I did but I didn't. I was inching farther from him very slowly.

So then I get behind him so that I could get a better perception of how much I'm pulling on him but he wouldn't bite, so I take off past him and he starts tailing me again but I couldn't shake him too much until I'd get into the turns.

Has anyone else encountered these guys yet and could shimmey in with their thoughts?

no way in hell an accord v6 with intake can pull on an s2k with intake, unless the S2000 guy just can't drive. It would have to be an accord v6 for it to be any resembling a "close" race and even then, they're mid 14 cars at BEST, whereas the S2k is a mid to high 13 car at best. Even from a roll, and S2k would take an accord, aided by the better aerodynamics.

how fast were you going when you gunned it? i can understand if it was harder to pull on the accord when your mph was already up there 70mph+...

do a race on a roll from like 25mph or even 40mph and it will be a different story..

I know I'm well decent to drive the car in a straight... when the twisties come, I'm still a little uneasy about it, but in a safe environment, I'll push the limits, just not when there's other cars around.
