Arrow MY06 S2000 vs. 2 RSX-S & 1 swapped hatch

Alright...I met up with a couple of guys from the ClubRSX forum tonight. Here's the low-down on the cars:

Me - 4.57-R FD, Comptech reinforced diff, Toda exhaust manifold, J's Racing straight pipe, AEM CAI, Invidia dual cat-back exhaust, Hondata IMG, Hondata ECU reflash, various weight reductions

ClubRSX #1: '06 RSX-S, DCRH, AEM CAI, ??? exhaust

ClubRSX #2: '05 RSX-S, DCRH, AEM CAI, ??? exhaust

ClubRSX #3: ??? Civic hatchback, "B20 with VTEC head", other mods ???

ClubRSX #1 and I ran 8-10 times. The first couple of runs we both started out in 2nd around 45 and he pulled about a half car and maintained the lead until we shutdown. The remaining runs we went back and forth between 2nd and 3rd gear rolls and each time I pulled a quarter to a full car on him.

ClubRSX #2 and I ran 3-4 times. Each time he beat me by about two car lengths.

ClubRSX #3 and I ran 3-4 times. Each time I beat him by three to four car lengths.

Nice group of guys, but not 100% honest. I checked under both their hoods and nothing stood out (like boost or NOS), but there is no way their cars would have performed as well as they did against me given the mods they claim. One mod that ClubRSX #1 has, which he never mentioned, is a 5.0 FD. I found this out by searching his posts on the ClubRSX forum and found him stating that he had the upgrade. I am sure that he has more upgrades then that...such as K-Pro and possibly even IPS cams. I wouldn't doubt that ClubRSX #2 has even more mods, seeing as he beat me each time.

What do you guys think?

Sounds a bit fishy to me as well. Roll races don't mean crap.

ROLLS are for bakeries.

I hear what you are saying...but take my mods and match them up against theirs (at least to the mods they are admitting to) and it doesn't add up. These two RSX-S' should be mid 14 second cars, while I should be low 13s.

That's gay, it would at least have been nice for a comparison since you guys seem to have been able to do so many runs.

Nice setup on your 06 by the way. I would seriously look at gears for myself, but the average speed on the autobahn here is way to high and I would always be in v-tec V-tec is great...just not great on gas mileage. I am definitely thinking about 4.77 gears when I get back to the states though. Have you taken your s2k to the track yet?

low 13's on an s2000 n/a? but on to the topic... they're definitely not telling you everything.... , i'm sure they'll probably post their kill on clubrsx and sooner or later they'll state the mods they have... curious though, what is a dcrh? and did you check the trunk? nos can easily be hidden if you wanted to... (you can buy this filter from zex where the nos is sprayed through the tip of the filter... if you have a cold air intake and its in the bumper, you'll never see the nozzle unless he shows you..)

I ran into a clubrsx member a week ago with full toda bolt ons, toda cams, and k pro and he definately was trapping somewhere around 103-105. I pulled on him, but it wasn't crazy or anything....just walking away

Definately an NA s2000 killer from a roll.
