HFS S2K

I was on my way home and was driving about 75 mph in the fast lane on the 5 North freeway. I passed up this all blacked out new G35 touring model that was dropped. I passed him and continued driving. Traffic started to get a little heavy so I started to weave in and out of cars (nothing dangerous, had lots of room in between cars). I exit my exit and spot the G35 exiting too, he pulls right behind me at the offramps light. As I take my right turn I floor it and let him hear the VTEC and try to provoke a race He follows me and pulls next ot me at a light which I'am making a left at. I look over and the driver is smilling so I know then it's on and cracking.

Light turns green and we take off taking the turn hard (I had the inside lane ) The following light is red I look up ahead and the other lights are turning red (3 in total ahead) I rev the S up to 4500 getting ready to launch and so does he. Light turns green and right off the bat I got about a half a car on him. 2nd 3rd he never got ahead of me. For the next 3 lights it was the same result.

So before I turn down another street to go towards my home he high beams me and we talk. He said he wanted to do a run from 70 to 130 on the freeway. It being so damn late (no traffic on freeway) I said sure

We start the 65 roll on the freeway. I'm in third he starts the 3 honks, the thrid one goes off. I wait to hear for him to go then he does and I put the pedal to the metal. We stick next to each other for about 2 seconds then I move ahead more and more and more. We exit he gives me a and I take off home.


End result, by 120mph I had him by 2 1/2 car lengths.

nice...I had an unexperienced kid trying to show off in one of those the other day. He wasn't as nice as the guy you met up with, think he was trying to impress his girlfriend. Traffic was too much though so I didn't bite. He tried for a couple miles to get me to race, but not in midday traffic...

i also ran my friend's g35 last nite, we stayed even till around 100mph. My car is 02 stock.

Nice! I feel bad when I run G35's cause they don't really stand a chance (unless thier modified). But thier such nice cars I was going to purchase one before the S. Good thing I choose the S. Very satisfied!

I raced a G35 last night from 40 to 75, and from 0 to 75. He had exhaust and I'm not sure what else. My 02 S is completely stock. We were dead even the whole way in both races. Congrats on your kill, looks like I'll have to wait for a stock G35 before I can add them to my list

he probably had intake and plenum as well. For the G's and Z's just having those two mods helps out the cars top end. Especially with the plenum.
