well a guy i work with set up a race between my turbo s2k vs one of his buddies' srt-4. my car is an 02' with the inline kit with all upgrades dynoing on a dynapak at 455whp. his car is an 04' srt-4 dynoing 390whp on a dynojet.
first run was from a 30mph roll in second gear. i pulled out to a one car length lead and he stayed at my rear bumper the rest of the way up to 135-140. i was very impressed. i expected more from my car but it was my first run with the turbo so whatever. then we run again from a 45 mph roll in third with the same exact results. again i am very impressed. we pull off at a gas station to talk for a little while and check the cars out. he had all kinds of stuff done but the list would be far to long to type.
i figured i would have destroyed him if we went from a stop but he didn't want to do that because he has traction issues. he told me he basically built a burnout machine.
i was told a couple of days later that his friends were telling him not to race me because he might get beat by a honda. apparently this kid is a honda hater and had all kinds of stuff on his my space trash talking hondas. i checked out his sight and now he only has one thing but thats besides the point. i find out a few days later that he is selling his car. i thought it was odd that after the trash talking and a honda beating him that he was selling his car, but it wasn't because of that. it turns out that he made a video of his car going 150mph+ and his mom saw it. because the car was in her name she is making him get rid of it! ha sucks for him. thats all for now. sorry this was so long
