Apex...How do you think a RSX would do with the Hondata #4 and Injen CAI against a stock S2K?

03 type-s with with 50 shot, intake, and exhaust. MY00 stock. We first went from a 45 roll 2nd drop we hit up to about 95 and he pulled by a half a car.

Second time we raced we hit from a 40 roll i pulled him by a car right off the bat then about to the top of my 3rd gear around 89mph right before 4th he caught me and was ahead of me by a bumper until we hit 105 where we started slowing down.

but thats it sorry i suck at details. pretty clean type-s though.
its all good dude...remember he is partially modded and 50 shot nos vs bone stock s2k...i sure if he keeps up using his nos in drag races he probabely would have some internal engine problems in the future haha

dam believe me it makes it a close race, but the rsx engdes out ahead right off the bat, never went long enough to see if i could catch him, but he basically had a steady slow pull on me. next race he used nos and well it was over before we started.

ApexSeal my friend has a type-s has hondata #4 CAI, Exhaust, Pulleys and cams. he only beat me by a car. that was off a 45 roll

now at the track were from new mexico so we have high elevation=slower times

Type-s with mods ran a 14.9
MY00 stock ran a 15.056

My friend with a Red s2k 01 wit a AEM CAI ran a 14.9 also

so that type-s does not prove much to me with all those mods

and im not downing the type-s either nice cars

LOL, reason I asked is because of the Video that is posted here in SE about my Evo vs RSX. I was telling people thats about how I pull on our S and everyone was saying the S will pull alot harder than an RSX.

Good death, he was modified and spraying...so no shame in losing. At first I expected to see a post about an S2K losing to a stock or I/E RSX

i know you weren't making a direct statement, but i have to disagree on your opinion about the car having problems after using nitrous to much. anything from a 75 shot and down, if hooked up properly, will not harm your car in anyway. as long as you change the oil every 2000 miles or so and make sure your running fresh 2 step colder plugs, your car will be fine. how do i know this??
2000 nissan sentra, base model, ran a 50 shot for 2 years straight using it every week= no problems til this date
1996 dodge intrepid, 75 shot for a year no problems then taking out because the car was slow anyway.
1989 honda crx, stock dx motor with 50 shot, ran for 5 months no problems til i got a new motor.
89 crx with ls motor, juiced for 4 months no problems whatsoever.

i'm not tryin to be a dick, but if you havn't personally experienced nitrous, dn't make bogus statements.

Another thing, gettin beat by half a car means you were at the rsx's door, i highly doubt you were at his door with his mods.

A stock RSX-S will dyno about 170-173 Hp on average. With Injen CAI and Hondata #4 (AND no race header) they dyno on average, 185 Hp. Add a DC Race Header and were talking 195. Then we add cat back......

Cat-Back exhaust doesn't do shit for the rsx. I had both the comptech and the HKS hi-power on my rsx-s, and the most gains I saw was around 3-4whp from the HKS. Comptech actually didn't do anything at all.

K20 engines with I/H/E, Hondata #4 and ITR cams and manifold will dyno 212-215 and the wheels (this has been done many times at clubrsx.com) Total cost of mods=$2700 aprox. that set-up will absolutly destroy any stock or midly modified S2000.
See I disagree with the statement. I have both cars, a 2001 s2k and a 2002 rsx-s. On my s2k I have cold air intake and vafc and dyno'd in at 208 whp all for 500 dollars. Baseline was around 192-3.

$2700 = about 210-220 hp for a na rsx-s

$2700 on my car will get me as much or if not more than those numbers.

They say a k20a has more mod potential, yes only because it comes detuned from the factory. Fully exploited k20a vs. f20c I think hp per liter will be very close.
