My S2K vs. GS-T
It's not too often that someone ever tries to race me, and I don't konw why. Maybe I don't look like the "racer" I used to be.
I was on my way to meet up with some friends for dinner and I needed to get some gas. After filling up the tank, I noticed a lowered Eclipse looking like it's waiting for me to leave. As I pulled out of the gas station, he then chases after me. So I look over to me left and there he is at me and I can hear his BOV. "I think he wants to race", so what the hell, I back. We ended up a the stop light in perfect racing postion . I barely even launched, almost rolled off the line until the tires gripped and then I gunned it. He on the other hand spun his tires which for the first 50 feet was pretty even . After that it was over. From first to second, I had over a car length. But third gear, at least 3 cars so I shut her down.
The kid rolls his window down at the next stop and say "damn that's fast". I just smiled and gave hime a thumbs up
It turns out the kid is only a senior in High School.
Remember those days guys, when you thought your car was faster than it really was.
