My s2 vs. Turbo LS
Just got home from Ontario. After a whole night of just spectating, Some guy with a Turbo LS hit me up to run. His was all stock on the outside, green, LS rims and it wasn't even drop. I had a friend with me and i think he also had a friend with him. First run, I dropped it at 6 and had a 1/2 car lead on him. Shift to second and my gear grinded 
(does this happen to any of you? I think it's my syncros). I ask to run again and he said give him a couple of mins so he can cool down his turbo. After about 10 mins, we lined up again. Dropped it at around 5.8 this time and wasn't in vtec, but still had 1/2-1 car on him. Hit second and stayed 1/2 a car ahead, then i heard his turbo spooled and passed me like I was standing still!!! 
He was a car ahead when i let off! I asked what turbo he was running and he said something tz62 something something... anyone have any idea? running at 8psi with some motor work!
I GOT MY ASS HANDED TO ME!
BTW: I hit 8.8-9+ K for all the shift

i had a LS turbo on stock motor and ran a 13.8 @ 105. Basically the common t3/t4 hyrbrid. From a standing stop, should be fairly close because of fwd limitations, but the LS will pull beginning of 3rd gear. From a roll, forget about it. That said, I still prefer my s2k overall, but every once in a while do miss straight ahead speed and the sounds of the turbine spooling and bov

I had raced an LS turbo. The guy was behind me and flew by my passenger side blowing off constantly. He got in front of me and I saw he had stock exhaust, I knew he was nothing. So I got behind him at the next light, didn't launch, he took off and I followed. Vitec hit and I had to swerve into the left lane to avoif hitting his rear, after that I was gone.

I had a turbo LS EG hatch before my S2k as a project car. It ran a 13.1@111.9mph on 10psi with the stock motor. That was more than a year ago. I sold it to a friend of mine and the car is still running perfectly today. Comp. is 195psi across the board. Tough motor.
anyone have any idea what turbo he was running? t62 or something like that
