There is quite a bit of construction near my house and the roads go from being perfectly paved to being all chopped up and filled with dust/rocks. So on my way home I'm waiting in the turn lane right behind a beautiful 66 Mustang Conv. It had CLASC 66 as the plate.

I'm staring at it thinking of what remarkable shape it is in when we get the green arrow and he lights up his tires. He got completely squirly and sideways making the turn and temptations got the best of me again and I gained suit. He got the initial jump so he was a good couple car lengths ahead. I quickly caught up though and actually had to let off a bit going into 3rd because I was affraid I was going to run into him. Well once I was in third he hit a portion of the road that was all chopped up and from there it was bad news for me. Rocks/dirt/dust bombarded me and sounded like my car was in a hail storm.

I put a decent gap between us and let him be on his way. I went home and washed my car and it looks like there are no chips outside a small little ding in my windshield. Oh well that's what I get for giving in to temptations again!

yeh stretch of freeway there doing new road on and fuk gravel at 60-70mph is not cool, I always avoid that patch.....
